Our 2023 boat started its voyage in Kristiansund, Norway, in early April 2023, thanks to our friends and partners at Ship to Gaza Norway and Palestinakomiteen i Norge. The boat was named at a ceremony in Bergen on April 17, by Fauzia Hussain-Wiik, Bergen head of Landsorganisasjonen i Norge (LO), the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions. The boat is called Handala in honour of the emblematic <\/em>Palestinian refugee child<\/a> who yearns to return to a free Palestine.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are proud to announce one of our members is onboard as a volunteer, helping to promote next years humanitarian mission<\/strong> sailing from Laggan Locks to Liverpool. Good luck Mags<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) is a grassroots people-to-people solidarity movement composed of campaigns and initiatives from different parts of the world, working together to end the illegal Israeli blockade of Gaza. The Freedom Flotilla Coalition was formed after the 2010 Freedom Flotilla, to coordinate action between numerous local campaigns in maritime efforts to end the illegal Israeli blockade of Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We respect everyone\u2019s human rights regardless of race, gender, tribe, religion, ethnicity, nationality, citizenship, disability, sexual orientation, or language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our actions against the blockade are always governed by the principles of non-violence and non-violent resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, but support no particular political party or organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
