{"id":1821,"date":"2014-10-13T19:17:20","date_gmt":"2014-10-13T19:17:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gphrc.org\/?page_id=1821"},"modified":"2014-10-13T19:17:20","modified_gmt":"2014-10-13T19:17:20","slug":"nillin-will-take-place-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gphrc.org\/index.php\/reports\/member-reports-2008\/nillin-will-take-place-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"Nillin will take place tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Nillin will take place tomorrow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well I have been told the demonstration in Nillin will take place tomorrow at 2pm.\u00a0 I must admit to being a bit apprehensive but know that the Palestinians depend on us to go.<\/p>\n<p>If it was not for us going, by that I mean Internationals the soldiers would use live bullets.<\/p>\n<p>This point was proved last week when they shot dead 2 Palestinians.\u00a0 Only aged only 10 YEARS.<\/p>\n<p>They were at the demonstration and the Internationals had walked away with the Palestinians when the 10 year old boy ran back to collect his shoe.\u00a0 He was murdered with a single live bullet to the head.<\/p>\n<p>TEN YEARS OLD.\u00a0\u00a0 I have seen the pictures and they are horrific.<\/p>\n<p>Who in their right mind can shoot a child cold blooded.\u00a0 Well the Israeli Army can no problem.\u00a0 They answer to no one and an entire village left to grieve.<\/p>\n<p>Well my friend George who is making a film about the occupation was at a childrens group in Nablus and he was telling me about the children and the Scottish lady who was working there.<\/p>\n<p>Yes SHEENA it is you.\u00a0 We are both back in Nablus at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>George is doing fantastic work here at his own expense.<\/p>\n<p>People can talk about figures and statistics but I feel sometimes they forget about the people.\u00a0 They have names, they have faces, they have families and they need people to talk to.<\/p>\n<p>I know the Politics are important but for me the people are just as important or maybe in my eyes MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING.<\/p>\n<p>As I said in my previous e mail the French Vans containing the medical equipment and medicines got in.\u00a0\u00a0 It takes away some of the disappointment that the Scottish van which we partly filled never went through.\u00a0\u00a0 Lets hope that it is the start of more vans coming over.\u00a0 I myself know of another 3 in the pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>Well I will let you know how Nillin is tomorrow.\u00a0 Hopefully it should be okay and nobody gets hurt.\u00a0 I very much doubt that though.\u00a0 Lets hope.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Massalam<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nillin will take place tomorrow Well I have been told the demonstration in Nillin will take place tomorrow at 2pm.\u00a0 I must admit to being a bit apprehensive but know that the Palestinians depend on us to go.
